The following are flat rate consideration guidelines as used by Rod's Private Contracting. CONTACT Rod FOR MORE SPECIFIC QUOTES ON SPECIFIC OFFERS.
ALL AMOUNTS INCLUDE INITIAL TRIP AND DIAGNOSTICS. In other words, once you accept the offer; I do not add any additional trip or diagnostic considerations or any other HIDDEN FEES as part of the estimate. THIS IS THE SAME THING AS A COMPANY WHO SAYS: "Free trip charge if the work is done". I just word it HONESTLY!
In fact, it's an entirely different way of providing these offers! The difference is that I am being HONEST about these very necessary considerations required to complete these offers. And I only ask for consideration which means a staight trade of value for value. (no profit) Believe me; when a company says: "Free trip charge if the work is done"? This is just an advertising gimmick and you can ask Tom Martino himself whether or not this is true.
What you should do is consider the bottom line, not a cheap trip charge from a company who is just trying to get in your house before they tell you the whole story. Quality of service, Materials and of course Warranty should ALL be considered when comparing. And alot of companies will not give you these details until they get you committed to their service call and they are in your home. (Take it from somebody who spent many years working for other such companies.)
| SIMPLE TECHNICAL SOLUTION ONLY (no expendables) | $80 - $100 |
| SIMPLE SOLUTION WITH MINOR EXPENDABLES SUCH AS: KNOB, BULB, CLIP, FASTENER, CLAMP, ETC. | $120 - $140 |
| AVERAGE SOLUTIONS | $160 - $220 |
| MAJOR SOLUTIONS SUCH AS: MAIN MOTOR, MOTOR/PUMP, TRANSMISSION, OUTER TUB, MAGNETRON, TRANSFORMER, CLOCK, ICE MAKER ASSEMBLIES, COMPLETE DEFROST SYSTEM, WASHER TIMER, ELECTRONIC CONTROL, OVEN CONTROL, MAJOR OVERHAULS OR MULTIPLE SOLUTIONS | $240 - $360 |
I have no problem with those who do their job for less. They OBVIOUSLY know what their job is worth!
If you are shopping for a "LOW PRICE"; you don't want My contract! Because you are looking for a company that provides poor customer service performed by an inexperienced, under-paid, "technician" who might be learning on the job providing cheaper, after-market or USED parts. Covered with warranties as little as thirty days. And makes unsubstantiated offers such as "Free trip charge". You can take my word on this because I have witnessed many such companies come & go. And you are likely to be disappointed and end up paying MORE in the long run! IF you can get them to come back on a warranty claim at all!
What I provide is: Excellent solutions performed by a highly experienced technician providing top quality, brand name parts covered by a full two-year warranty.
Cost isn't everything! You have to compare ALL the pros and cons of the individuals or companies you are comparing! Me? I believe in quality & reliability!
The BOTTOM LINE? Why even bother to break down idividual costs at all?!? This is an OLD FASHIONED method!
I simply utilize a FLAT RATE for a SOLUTION.
It literaly IS the BOTTOM LINE without any confusion over out-dated concepts such as "labor" and "parts". In fact I actually consider parts to be EXPENDABLE materials I use to provide the SOLUTION of restoring the operation of your appliance. All you have to decide is whether or not to accept the solution based on the bottom line and My expert opinion.
Think about it. :)
