MY POLICY

Every contract is different depending on location, difficulty, availability of parts, parts costs, access to the appliance in your home, communications, traffic, etc.

Because of this fact, many service companies absolutely refuse to give good advice or estimates over the telephone. But I do things a little different!

If an in-store repair company such as a computer or auto repair shop can provide flat rate pricing? Then why not do the same in the appliance service industry?

I DO! I can give you technical advice over the phone, and sometimes I can even diagnose the problem by asking you specific questions about your appliance!

I can also tell you what services might cost BEFORE I come out to your home or business! Of course an actual diagnosis IS needed to know EXACTLY what needs to be done in order to solve that particular problem. But if you already know what needs to be done? I can actually tell you the exact cost before coming to your home!

My initial considerations are $40 to come out to your home or business plus another $20 for each appliance I diagnose and provide an estimate. ($60 for one appliance diagnosis and quote.)

Then: I provide a total flat rate consideration quote for the needed repair solutions(s) including the intial consideration and cash discount. Should My offer not be accepted; your initial consideration can then be later applied to any other repair solutions you may need in the following thirty days. (30 day credit)

As a general rule, for the most typical contracts, you should plan on spending somewhere between $160 to $220 including initial diagnostics, quality solutions and materials.

ALL OF MY SOLUTIONS ARE PERFORMED USING BRAND NAME PARTS WHENEVER POSSIBLE AND ARE COMPLETELY COVERED BY A FULL TWO YEAR WARRANTY ON ALL COMPLETED CONTRACTS INCLUDING DIAGNOSIS AND YOUR SATISFACTION IS ALSO GUARANTEED OR I WILL REFUND YOUR CONSIDERATION! *

A large, private, fully stocked conveyance travels to your home, not a smaller compact car or pickup like some others use.

* Warranty details:

If you are not fully satisfied with the solution? I can simply repossess the materials and issue a full refund.

I do not ask for any additional consideration on normal warranty claims to correct a problem with the original repair solution like some other companies do. This means the trip & diagnosis are covered during the two year warranty period! But if no repair is performed? I cannot refund trip and diagnostic considerations for the following reasons:

  1. Once I have already invested the time and expense to travel to your home and provide the diagnostic service and estimate as requested by you; this cannot be repossessed or undone.

  2. I am not in the business of teaching appliance repair to people in their homes. If I was? I would be charging at least $160/hr. for in-home tutoring.

  3. The “final diagnosis” is to actually perform the solution and check the work to make sure that it does in fact solve the problem. If you are expecting to simply pay somebody to tell you what is wrong and fix it yourself? Then you are taking the risk upon yourself that this may not solve all or any of your problems. And you cannot hold me responsible when you dishonor My original contract offer.
